On Friday July 19th, 2019 Skaidrite Krumins (Kelpe) peacefully passed at the Toronto Western Hospital. Wife of predeceased Edgar Krumins (2009) and Mother of predeceased Andris Krumins (2012). Dearly loved Aunt of Rita, Ronald, Sally, Sylvia and Cindy. Great Aunt of Christina and Matthew. Godmother to Peter Sprukulis and Godmother to Alita Piggot.

Skaidrite was born in 1927 in Riga, Latvia. She left Latvia beginning her journey to Canada, making stops to live in Germany and England along the way. Skaidrite met her Husband Edgars Krumins in England while she was working as a nurse. The couple wed in England before they travelled to Canada to start a new life in Toronto. Skaidrite carried out her passion for nursing working for a medical supply company, Kendall, Curity until she retired. Skaidrite was very involved with the Latvian community and was an active member at St. Barnabas Church.

Visitation on Saturday September 21st, 2019 at 9:30 am at York Cemetary. Service at 10:00 am followed by Internment. Lunch to take place at the York Cemetary Pavillion. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Toronto Humane Society.
