Siu Lai Ng

November 25, 1958 - December 12, 2023

Siu Lai Ng 吳紹禮, 65, of Markham, Ontario, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his wife and two sons on December 12th, 2023 after a three-and-a-half-year battle with lung cancer.

Siu Lai was born on November 25th, 1958 to Ping Fun Ng 吳炳勳 and Nui Lee 李女 in Hong Kong.

Siu Lai graduated from Sheng Kung Hui Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School 聖公會林護紀念中學.

Siu Lai established a successful career in banking and contributed his efforts to various prestigious companies including Wardley, JP Morgan, and Royal Bank of Canada.

In 1988, Siu Lai married his wife Delia Ruby Low Siu 劉翠蘭 in Hong Kong. Siu Lai and Delia Ruby went on to have two sons, Daniel Chak Fung Ng 吳則鋒 and Arthur Chak Yin Ng 吳則賢.

Siu Lai retired on December 1st, 2023, after over 40 years of dedication to his career.

Siu Lai was predeceased by Ping Fun Ng and Nui Lee. He is survived by Delia Ruby Low Siu, Daniel Chak Fung Ng, and Arthur Chak Yin Ng.

Services will be held at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres on Monday December 18th, 2023 at 9 am. Flowers and/or donations directed to the Odette Cancer Centre through the Sunnybrook Foundation or the Wheels of Hope Program at the Canadian Cancer Society are welcomed.
