It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sam Simopoulos at the age of 94 on Sunday, January 10th, 2021 at his long-term care home in Mississauga, Ontario.

Beloved husband and best friend for 71 years of the late Katina Simopoulos.

Loving father to his late son Tom Simopoulos and surviving daughter Angela Stojanovski.

He was the proud grandfather (Detho) to Robert Simopoulos, Andrew Simopoulos, Caitlin Simopoulos, Chris Stojanovski, Steven Stojanovski and Michelle Loleski and proud great grandfather to 11 great grandchildren.

He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, only a private visitation and memorial service will be held Monday, January 18th, 2021, 1:00pm at Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres. A live webcast will be offered for those who are not able to attend due to the pandemic. Please find the webcast link at the top of the memorial page before 1:00 pm on Monday, January 18th, 2021.
