Shun-Shing Lai, 黎順誠, 72, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Markham Stouffville Hospital surrounded by his family.

Shun-Shing was born on January 18, 1951 in the Nanhai District of Guangdong, China to Chu To Lai, 黎鑄滔, and Pui Fung Fu, 符佩鳳. He gained a degree in chemical engineering from the National Taiwan University (國立臺灣大學) in 1976 and had a successful career as a production manager in the printed circuit board (PCB) industry.

In 1972, Shun-Shing met Mimi Lai, 倪莉菁, and they happily married in 1980, becoming partners in life.

Shun-Shing loved soccer, drinking and collecting tea, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving and caring person, devoted husband, father, and friend. He touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life.

Shun-Shing leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife; his children, Vincent and Vikki; 1 granddaughter and a host of family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
