We wish we could offer special words to ease the sadness from the loss of your father.
Ever one's grief is as unique as the relationship was with the person you have lost.
May the memories of your father keep his spirit close bringing you comfort.
You are in my prayers.

Originating from Toishan and in search of a suitable occupation, our father had various ventures with herbal medicine among them in the province of Guangdong located in Southern China.
Entrepreneurialism was quite prevalent in the family with his father in the laundry business, his uncle being a restaurateur and his cousin having his own auto shop all in Toronto so he leapt at the opportunity to join them in Toronto.
Opportunities abound for my father on his arrival in Canada with stops in smaller communities like Sarnia and Oshawa. After reunification with his own family, he added Brockville and Smiths Falls to that list.
Having a love for Majong resulted in numerous outings with many new and old acquaintances through all those years. His penchant for risk taking was seen in his love of the race track. Having played some of the popular sports in his more youthful days resulted in a lifelong interest in watching sports.
His children had the chance to learn two cultures from living both in the Asian and the American continents. He introduced us to some of the more picturesque places like the Thousand Islands and the history-rich Rideau River. A lesson I learned from him was the importance of independence. Thank you.
Rest in peace.

Son
