Passed peacefully at Trillium Manor, Orillia on Wednesday October 24, 2018 at age 93. Shirley predeceased by her husband Gordon. Will be sadly missed by her children. Mother of Gail (Tony) Burns, Sandra (Doug) McFadden, Kathryn (Tom) Boughton, Michael (Laura), David (Patricia) and Calvin (Lily). Grandmother of Scott (Sherri), Julie (Randy), Paul, Andrew (Karen), Steven (Shelley), Alec, Kevin, Jennifer (Devon) and Heather (Evan). Great grandmother of Ryan, Aliena, Adele, Brayden, Kayley, Hannah (Drew), Noah and Hudson. Loving sister of Marie Crawford (Jack).

Friends and family will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 11-12 p.m. Funeral service at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada will be appreciated.

My sincerest sympathy to all the family. I loved my visits to see Shirley. Her sense of humor was so refreshing, and her love for her family was evident in every visit. I will miss her dearly, but I have many memories to carry with me.
