Shirley Ann Cripps Fryer Petrella, age 88, lost her battle to cancer on January 15, 2018 at Credit Valley Hospital. Shirley attended school in Toronto and went on to become a Nurse . She was born in Toronto on May 6, 1929 and over the years lived in both Montreal and Toronto. Shirley was very a special and multi-talented woman. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, playing the organ, dancing, skating, collecting antiques, decorating , spending time at the cottage in Georgian Bay and loved animals. She is survived by her daughter Joanne, son Nick, grandchildren Jason, Jordan, Andrea, Tania and Alexandra and great grandchildren Charlie and Blayke.A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday January 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm at White Oak Presbyterian Church 6945 Meadowvale Town Centre Cir, Mississauga, ON L5N 2W7. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
