I am so very sorry to hear about Ross' passing. I had hoped to see him in July when I plan a trip to Toronto. On my last contact with him via E-mail, he was complaining that the nurses wouldn't let him walk around the place and confined him to his room. So like Ross to be independent to the end. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences and know I am thinking of you all.
We are very sorry to hear of Ross's passing, as our thoughts are with you all this time of sorrow and grief. We know that he missed Nancy constantly and now he is with her again. Unfortunately we CANNOT be at his funeral and Celebration of Life, as we are in Edmonton supporting our 14 year grandson compete in the National Karate Federation tournament representing Team Ontario. Ross & Nancy having met our grandchildren, always asking about them whenever we saw them. Again we apologize for not being here for Ross's final good bye.
My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of skiing with Ross when I joined my father, Andy Sokol, on some Love to Ski days and trips. Ross was always the gentleman. I enjoyed listening to his many stories about his early ski days. May you all find comfort in the sharing of memories. Sandy Sokol
Had the pleasure of meeting Ross and Nancy a few years back at Dale and Ian’s cottage on Lake Winnipeg. I know how much he loved his family and it was an honor to hear his stories and know that they reside now in the hearts of his children and grandchildren.
I am so sorry to hear about your father's passing. My condolences to all the family. May he rest in peace with your mother. Sincerely Greg Misumi
