November 6, 1914 -  May 8, 2017

Passed away in her sleep on May 8, 2017 in her home at Momiji Seniors Residence in her 103rd year. Born in Vancouver, married to the late Henry Masakazu, much loved mother of Nancy (Ted Moritsugu), Leonard (Mary), Irene (Andrew Attfield) & Joyce (the late Glenn Moore). Treasured Bachan of Steve, Sue & Will, Lynne & Jeff, Donna & Kirk, James & Christie, David & Vikki, Jen & Brian and Matthew & Julia. Obachan of Sarah, Nicole, Jonah, Madeline, Nicholas, Claire, Cameron & Willa. Her beautiful smile will be missed by everyone. The family appreciates the compassion and care provided by the Momiji staff, her private caregivers, especially Marisol and Dr. Lall.

Memorial donations to the Momiji Health Care Society, the Toronto Buddhist Church or the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre would be appreciated in lieu of koden or flowers.
