It is with great sadness and honour that the family of Sheila Frances Byles announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, September 30th, 2017 at the impressive age of 100. Sheila will be joining her beloved husband William (Bill) Douglas Byles who passed away in 1988. She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Kevin (Victoria Valius), Alannah, Rosanne (Bruce Belmonte), Colleen Comber (Ed Comber), and Nuala Byles. Sheila will also be fondly remembered by her 5 grandchildren; Connor Gregory, Clare Gregory, Thomas Elliot, Jonah Elliot and Bronwyn Byles. Sheila was the last of her 6 Rankin Family siblings.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Center on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017 at 375 Mount Pleasant Road (South of Merton St and North of St. Clair Ave) in the Sugar Maple Hall. Visitation is from 1:00pm until 2:00pm, Chapel Service from 2:00pm to 2:45pm and drinks and appetizers are from 3:00pm until 5:30pm. A private burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
