In memory of

Shew Chan Ham

October 19, 1931 -  June 20, 2016

Dedicated son of Bon Tai & Loo Ying Ham, devoted husband to Yuet Ling Ham, loving father to Michael (Alice), Morris (Elaine), Marsha (Perry Quan), Martin (Karen), & Myra (Felix Chow) and wonderful grandfather to Emma, Dana, Alexandra, Lauren, Valerie Quan, Ethan & Kaitlyn and Liam Chow.

Born in Kwangtung China, he was a pillar of the Hamilton Chinese Community for many years and loved his adopted home, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada very much. He opened China City Restaurant from 1974 until he retired in 2000.

He always walked the talk, and enriched the lives of his family and all those that knew him.

He will be missed greatly.

Uncle Ham has become a part of our extended family for over 10 years now. In community he's a great philanthropist, and at home he's the great patriarch of his family. He's always a kind and generous man, and he taught those around him the importance of family values. Uncle Ham will be missed very much by all who knew him.
