Shee Lin Wong passed away peacefully on the morning of June 27, 2022 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ming Jan Wong. She is survived by her seven children, Que (Louisa), Victor (Gurne), Wilfred (Anna), Albert (Judy), Evelyn (Peter), Danny, and William (Sharon); her eight grandchildren, Renee, Emerson, Annesa (Jeffrey), Sahlia, Mia (Ashley), Laura (Masse), Danielle (Chris), Callan and Alvin.

Born in Ngeen Hing Lee, Guangdong, China, Shee Lin immigrated to Canada in the early 1950s to assist her husband in running various businesses in Toronto; shortly thereafter, they started to build a family. Shee Lin was a proud woman who had strong work ethics. She was a custodian for the University of Toronto. She selflessly provided assistance to many Chinese immigrants in Toronto. She was well known in Chinatown.

Shee Lin was also admired for her strong family values. She adored her grandchildren and was often preparing food, handing out lucky money whenever they visited. Family was her life and gatherings made her happy.

She will be greatly missed and we are comforted by the thought that Mom and Dad will be taking care of each other.
