Shaun you were always so happy and humble. And as close as Steph and I are, the love you had for her and how much of a respectful gentleman you were was inspiring. I truly hope that you party with the angels and I can't wait to fete with you in heaven.
I'll watch over Steph for you

If anyone knew me from the ages of 6-11 they knew Shaun Fazal and I were attached by the hip. Best buds, office helpers, recess "pal's", welcome team members, library helpers etc etc. We were in the same class for 5 years and did everything together. All my memories from Morton Way literally have you in them. From making snow forts, playing catch/homerun, saying hi to your little sister in the kindergarten section, getting out of class to do errands for teachers, playing signal during rainy day recesses, going to Laser Quest for the first time, being partners on fieldtrips, collecting crickets and grasshoppers in Sunny D bottles, helping others whenever and wherever possible - the list is endless. I remember you telling me to name my caterpillar Austin 3:16 in Grade 1 because he was a cool wrestler even though I had no idea who he was. I did it anyways cause I trusted you. That caterpillar definitely transformed into a cool ass butterfly haha. I remember how boring school was when you were away on vacation or home sick for the day. I always looked forward to meeting you at the front where we would say bye to your sister and headed into class.
We then went on to Little Centennial where we got put into different classes. We slowly drifted, meeting new friends and having different schedules it was only natural. However seeing all the comments online shows me that you have continued to be the same guy I knew back then - the kind, humble, nice, funny and honest guy you were when you weren't even 10 years old yet! I clearly remember you telling me you had an older cousin or uncle that was a DJ and you wanted to learn and do that one day. I'm extremely proud to see you made it and had so much more potential. It must have been all the imaginary DJ'ing we did with our hands and ears against our shoulders that helped. Just kidding- it was all you. I couldn't have asked for a better friend in those first years where people outside your family become family. I'm in complete shock and so sad to see that you've gone on and will always cherish those fun memories we had. Sending you, your family and friends all my love and peace.
always be remembered as the best dj peel had to offer you will never be forgotten!
