In memory of

Samia Adaime

January 1, 1941 -  June 23, 2025

It is with deep love and gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Samia Adaime Nassar, who entered eternal rest on June 23, 2025, at the age of 84.

Samia was born in Lebanon to Najib and Evelyn Adaime. She was the fourth of seven children. Her siblings included three brothers - Joseph, Tony, and Habib - and three sisters - Nouhad, Najat and Yousra.

In 1964, Samia married the love of her life, the late Elias Nassar. Together, they raised four children: Ghassan, Gerrard, Lena, and Fadi. A devoted homemaker and deeply religious woman, Samia’s faith and family were the pillars of her life. She was a stern yet loving mother who led her household with strength, grace, and discipline - qualities that proved essential while raising 4 active children and managing a home where hospitality was a way of life.

Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and lots of food. She was renowned for hosting Sunday dinners, holiday feasts, and welcoming unexpected guests with open arms and a full table. In her later years, when she could no longer cook, she found joy in savoring good food. Her favorite dishes included sushi, pho, and kibbeh nayeh - a nod to both her adventurous palate and her Lebanese roots.

Samia was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and great-grandmother to two.
• Ghassan's children: Joelle, Sabine (mother of Dimitri), and Karen
• Gerrard and Sandra’s daughter: Eliana
• Lena and Elie Ziade’s children: Joey (married to Chris, parents of Noah) and Lea
• Fadi and Caroline’s children: Elias and Chloe

Though she carried herself with elegance and propriety, she was known to those closest to her for her quick wit and mischievous sense of humor. She will be remembered for her fierce love of family, her boundless generosity, and the strength of her character. Samia leaves behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and the enduring bonds of family - values she instilled in her children and grandchildren. May she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved Elias, and may her memory be eternal.
