Dear Friends and Family,

With much sorrow, we write to inform you that our beloved Sahibdas Kundanmal Punwani (“Moti”) passed away this morning of July 3rd, 2016 in Mississauga, Canada.

Moti was a devoted husband to Kavita, and a loving father to Vikram and Sonia. Though a man of few words, he was never short of a quick witted remark to lighten the mood. He will be remembered by all his friends and family for his gentle demeanor and strength of character. May his soul peacefully reside in heaven, though we are sure that he will be making the most of every moment with his brother, Charan, his partner in crime in mischief since childhood.

We will be holding a Memorial Ceremony at the Meadowvale Cremation Chapel in Brampton, Ontario this upcoming Friday, July 8th, 2016 at 12:00 pm. Please see more details at the link below.

Dear Vikram, Sonia and Kavita aunty,

I am so sorry to hear about Moti uncle's passing away. I know it has been a difficult few years and I hope you all got to spend some quality time with him in the end. I also hope he has left you all with amazing memories (as I have of his quick wit and calming presence despite the many years it has been since we last met at Cornell) and a gift of togetherness.
