Peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Derek. Dear mother of Wendy. Special family members Jean, Ashley and Sadie's best pal, Munchie. Special thanks to the staff at Michael Garron Hospital for their compassionate care and support. Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Michael Garron Hospital - Palliative Care.

Dear Wendy & Derek,
It was with sadness we learned of Sadie's passing, our condolences. Sadie was always very hospitable & friendly when we would visit your home. She was quick to have the kettle boiling to have a cup of tea. Shortbread & scones our favourite! At Christmas dinners past, endless plates of food served up to ensure we did not leave hungry....Sadie had a big heart!
Fond memories is what we cherish in this dificult time, may the love of family & friends comfort you both in the days ahead.
