Rowena Tiama

July 31, 1967 -  November 15, 2020

The family of Rowena Tiama sadly announces her passing on November 15, 2020 following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Rowena was the beloved daughter of Corazon and the late Damason Ramirez; beloved wife of Windel Tiama and loving mother of Jerome, Joshua and Jamaica. She will also be lovingly remembered as a dear sister to Franco (Gertrude), Riza, Reynalda (Eldie), Veronica (Dames) and Cherrielyn (Edgar); and dear aunt to Franklin, Angela, Francis Benedict, Angelo, Marilou, Robert, Ricky, Neil Francis, Manny, Maricor and their families.

Due to Covid-19 gathering restrictions, guests are asked to contact the family if they wish to attend the visitation and/or the funeral as attendance will be limited. Masks are mandatory for all guests.

Memorial donations in Rowena's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Please see link to the charity under the donations tab.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I did not know Rowena personally but through Franco, her brother, him sharing with me how she was a strong woman, had a positive outlook, and a loveable personality that attracted many friend and family in her life. May she now rest in peace and be an angel to all of us.

She’s one of the most kind, loving and caring friend that I could ever have. A true super woman!
