I don’t think I ever saw Ron without a smile. Our Grandmas lived next door to each other all their lives. Moutray Street. My moms brother Gord married Ron’s dads sister Florence so we called ourselves cousins. Love to his children & grandchildren, he will be missed.

Respectful, warm to both people and canines, as well as a fondness for hearty laughter cracking jokes that put everyone in the room in a good mood; these were the enduring qualities of Ron Sr.'s character that made him a dear friend who shall be sorely missed.

I was sad to hear of the passing of my uncle, Ronny and disappointed I couldn't make it to the funeral. My thoughts are with the family and I hope to visit his final resting place the next time I'm in Ontario.

Love John and Rosilyn.
