Ron passed away peacefully, at Scarborough General Hospital on December 24, 2023, at age 91. He was the devoted and beloved husband to Sumiko (Sue) Nakamura. He was especially grateful for the caring assistance of Gene and the Machida family, and for the support he received from the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Sunnybrook Odette Centre and Home and Community Support Services. Ron will be greatly missed by his in-laws, many nieces, nephews and friends. There will be a private gathering for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre or the Momiji Health Care Society would be appreciated.
