In memory of

Ronald Steeves

July 31, 1934 -  October 15, 2024

At the age of 90, Ron passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Predeceased by his wife, Paula, he will be forever missed by their children; daughter Sherry Vrencken, and son Gary Steeves. He was a proud Grampy to his granddaughters Anja and Vanessa. He was also a proud Great-Grampy to baby Ayla. He was a brother-in-law to Myrna Adams, Eric MacKenzie, Diana MacKenzie, and Lucille MacKenzie along with their families. He will be dearly missed by his church family at City Centre Baptist. In his younger years he was a valedictorian.
Later he worked in Finance and Corporate Real Estate while living throughout the USA and Canada. Many would say he was a “walking book of knowledge “. He was strong in his Christian faith. He loved creating his backyard “California Garden” where he enjoyed reading and relaxing. Funeral Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 9-10 am at The Simple Alternative, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 5J 1, followed by Funeral service at 10am. Donations can be made in his honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Bible Society or The Bible League of Canada.

So sorry to hear the passing of Ron. My husband George and I met both Ron and Paula at Erin Mills Baptist Church many years ago. Paula and I sang a duet… I have never forgotten her beautiful singing voice.
We connected again at City Centre. I will always be grateful to Ron for his helpful information and caring during the long illness of my husband.
We can rejoice knowing he now sits at the feet of Jesus.
