Dear Lana, Joyce, Amelia and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved father Ron. We met Lana and Ron when they first moved into the neighbourhood. They were lovely neighbours. Always cheerful and friendly and ready to chat. I remember fondly when your dad came back from up North one weekend and brought bushels of asparagus from the farm he visited and he generously shared them with us. We’ve sadly missed him these last few years.
May you cherish all the warm and wonderful memories you shared together.
Our heartfelt condolences,
Celia Cohen and Ronnie Wolman

My deepest condolences to the entire Yee family. It is a privilege to call Joyce a dear friend. Her passion for life, family and community so clearly comes from this incredibly loving, strong, resilient family. I had the pleasure of spending time with the Yee clan several years ago and was educated by Ron on how to enjoy Kings tea properly - it is something I do to this day, every time with a smile and love.

Dear auntie Lana, Joyce, Amelia, Mike, Salina and families,

We were shocked and extremely sorrow to hear the news. Uncle Ron is the cousin and best mate of my mom Ngar Ching when they were in China during their childhood.

These days, we recalled some scenes with uncle Ron. We were lucky to meet him several times. He was a wise man with humor. He was once passing by Hong Kong and lived with us for a night. We went to eat roasted pigeon and roasted goose together which is famous in our area and visited the scene nearby. He liked the food very much and said he would come again for sure. He woke up early in the morning and practiced QiGong (氣功). He also taught us some breathing exercise and some Kung Fu postures. We talked a lot before seeing him off to China for visiting his home town. He told us many things about his life, his home town and his experience.

Uncle Ron, may you rest in peace! We all miss you!

Love,
Erica, Mike, Charlotte and Ngar Ching family
