July 10, 1925 -  September 8, 2019

Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at North York General Hospital, in his 94th year. He is survived by his loving wife Ruby, of 42 years. He will be greatly missed by Ken and Ann Uyesugi and granddaughters Stefanie (Chris) and Kristi.

Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (North of St. Clair Ave. E. 416-267-8229), on Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 1:00-1:45 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at 1:45-2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers & Koden, donations can be made to a charity of choice.

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, as they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. Surely Ron will not be forgotten.

I have many fond memories of Ron. At my parents home, Ron and my dad departing quickly into the living room for a glass of whiskey, while my mom and Ruby would be laughing loudly in the kitchen at stories shared.
I still have the chair Ron made for me 45 years ago. The pride he took in his craft reflected in the quality of his product.
I will never forget how at 93 he soundly beat me at bowling - the 30 years difference in our age of no concern!
RIP Ron, you are remembered.
