ROMANO, Rocco – Passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Lakeshore Hospital in Pointe Claire, Quebec, at the age of 85. Survived by his beloved wife Beverley Parry, daughters Lucia “Jessica” Romano (Robert Miniaci), Adelaide “Heidi” Romano, son Tony Romano, grandchildren Jason and Michael. Remembered by his step-children Chris, Kim, Adam, Ellen and grandchildren. He enjoyed a long career as a contractor and numerous travel adventures. A dedicated, devoted loving father and friend, Rocco’s charismatic, strong positive personality never swayed despite the challenges of his failing health. He was an extraordinary man. Rocco will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Family will receive friends at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto, ON, Canada, M1K 1R1 on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Visitation 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Funeral 2:00 PM, Burial 2:45 PM, immediately followed by a reception. Donations can be made to a children’s charity of your choice.
