In memory of

Robin Angela Dennis

January 29, 1961 -  October 14, 2025

Robin Angela Dennis, a devoted Lion and two-time Lions President, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. Born in Mahaicony, Guyana, Robin came to Canada at just 18, where she built a beautiful life grounded in love, strength, and community.

A proud and loving mother, wife, sister, and friend, Robin is survived by her husband Gerard; daughters Arianne and Renesha; son Brent; brothers Eric Phillips and Leroy Moore; and sisters Ann Phillips and Ruby Prince. Her laughter, thoughtfulness, and compassion touched every person, fortunate enough to know her.

As a proud Lion, Robin embodied service β€” planting trees, organizing community cleanups, feeding the homeless, raising mental health awareness, and spreading the Lions’ message of kindness and unity. After bravely battling leukemia and receiving a bone marrow transplant from her youngest daughter, Arianne, Robin continued to live 3 extra years with joy, faith, and gratitude.

My Dear Sister is gone but not forgotten. We will never forget your Love, Your Service and Your Courage.

May you Rest In Peace.

TIMELESSNESS

I want to stop time
So I could be with you
So I could be In you
And within You
I want to soar in the skies
Of your heart

I want to stop time
For you are My Renaissance Woman
My African heartbeat
My sacred chant
My Nefertiti
My Sheba
My Winnie Mandela

I want to stop time
For you are my sacred
Dance of beauty
A symphony of movement
And Grace
A rainbow of rapture
And Desire
A beautiful metaphysical Sapphire
My mystery
My destiny
My creativity
My certain uncertainty
My uncertain certainty
My vision quest and
My dream quest

I want to stop time
Freeze every hour
Freeze every minute
Freeze every second
Freeze Eternity
So I can be with you
So you can be with me

I want to stop time
Eternally
So I can be with you
And of you
And to you
And for you
Body Spirit Soul

I want to stop time
So I can dance with you
Let the music of love be seen
Let the silence of love
Be heard
Be Felt
Be gleaned

I want to stop time Mother Africa
To be Timeless with you
To embrace your symphony
Absorb your hurts and pains

I want to stop time
So I can touch your spirituality
Mother Africa
Come give yourself to me
Let us be one heartbeat
In the magic of Love

I want to stop time
Become Infinity
Become The Pharaoh of Time

I want to stop time
So I can embrace You
Your Spirit
Your Love
Your Timelessness

I want to
Timelessly Love You
Mother Africa
