In memory of

Robert Nutter

November 11, 1961 -  July 12, 2017

Passed away suddenly on July 12th, 2017, at his home in Scarborough at the age of 55. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Laurie, his son Ryan, his mother Christina and brother Joseph. Rob was one of many cousins from a large family and was nephew to many aunts and uncles who loved him dearly. As an employee of the City of Toronto for the past 30 years, Rob was a proud member of the Toronto Civic Employees' Union (TCEU). Having spent most of his career in Solid Waste, Rob was well known for being a 'straight-shooter'. He called it as he seen it and had strong, deeply-held convictions. These convictions shaped the way he lived his life and viewed the world around him. Rob was an avid golfer; having only discovered his passion for the game a few years ago. While a quiet man on most occasions, Rob would never shy away from telling you what a great golfer he was; how fast his car was; or how proud he was of his family. Rob will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. A memorial reception will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE (625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Sunday, July 16th, 2017, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Laurie, Ryan and family, There are absolutely no words that will ease your pain. We are shocked and saddened by the loss of your dear husband, father, son and friend but take comfort in the fact that Rob was loved completely and had the honor of having you in his life. May your memories be warm and often and your heart be filled with pride. Sending you all love and strength at this unimaginable time. xoxoox
