After a long well-lived life, Bob passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in his 100th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen (1982). Loving father of Marilyn (Ken) and Helen (Ken). Proud Grandpa of Kenny (Lianne), Shaun, Michelle (Travis), Stuart (Jillian) and Steven. Extremely proud Great-Grandpa of Talen and Brennan. Dear brother to Elsie and predeceased siblings Louise, Anne, Harry, Doris and Edith. Bob will be sadly missed by his extended family - Devoted companion Catherine "Irene" Hamilton and her children, Warren (Diana) and Rhona, along with grandchildren, Hayley, Stephanie and Scott. In lieu of flowers, donations to Markham Stouffville Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Irene: I'm so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I have wonderful memories of my time in the Building Department. Bob was a true friend that made me laugh with his stories and jokes. We all had such great times at our cottages.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.
A big warm hug to you my dear friend
God bless

Dear Irene, I'm so sorry to hear this news. Hope you're ok. You have all my sincere sympathy. Bob was quite the unique character and I enjoyed spending time with him back in the day. I remember when you two became an item. I'm sorry I cannot attend the Funeral but my thoughts are with you and the family. Bob deserves a Metal for reaching such a ripe old age. He never ceased to amaze me.
You have always been very special to me and those feelings are still as strong as ever
My best regards,
John
