To the Thackeray Family,.
Jan & I are sore sorry for your loss. Bob was a good friend many years going back to the Oshawa Tennis Club days and then continuing on after at the Oshawa Golf Club. We enjoyed many a good laugh on Tuesday mornings and the golf games have not been the same over the past 2 years for sure.
We are sure you have many fond memories of family times and these will be what keep his memory with you for ever.
Brian & Jan
Condolences to the entire Thackeray family, especially Jo-Anne. You helped him fight a courageous battle and now he is at rest. Your art was inspiring along with your personality. Forever missed by our art community.

I have always admired Bob's paintings ever since I met him in 2000. Little did I know, that we would become friends as I started my journey as an artist and participated in several art shows where Bob was clearly a leading artist! He has encouraged me, supported my art journey and has helped me approach some galleries. Over the years, he would tease me about my abstracted landscapes and we would share stories about everything art. I worked in Currys art store for 13 years and in that time, I would surely see Bob at least every week (unless he is in Florida or Bermuda) and we would always chat. I will miss him.
Bob was a very nice person and a good artist. He will be missed.
Dear Jo and Family,
Sending our deepest condolences.
May you find the strength courage and support during this difficult.
Thinking of you and keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
Hugs
