Robert “Bob” Daniel Shaw passed away peacefully at his home in Scarborough, Ontario on July 25, 2023. Born on August 6, 1948, he was the beloved son of Hugh Hedley Shaw and Ona Isabel Shaw.

Devoted husband to Cynthia Shaw for almost 50 years, he was a loving father to his daughter Susan and son Craig. Bob’s dry sense of humour brought laughter to every room he entered and his love extended to his grandchildren, Liam, Logan, Wren, and daughter-in law Amanda.

When not spending time with his family, Bob enjoyed caring for his faithful canine companions who would accompany him on leisurely walks around his Guildwood neighborhood.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 4pm to 8pm at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road in Toronto, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Toronto Humane Society.

Bob Shaw will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his love and humour continue to bring joy to his beloved family and friends.
