Robert Allen Armstrong

March 9, 1933 -  April 24, 2025

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Armstrong, who died peacefully on April 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Bob leaves behind his loving wife Grace of 36 years, daughter Carol, and grandchildren Joshua and Hannah. Bob was predeceased by his first wife, Edith (1988) and dear daughter, Deborah Mora (2023). Bob was an avid golfer and greatly enjoyed boating on Georgian Bay with Grace as first mate, as well as spending time with family throughout his retirement. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humour and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Cardinal Drive North at Humber Meadows and ExcellCare for their care and kindness. A private interment will take place at Elgin Mills Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Parkinson Society Canada or The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

I am relieved to hear that Bob is now with our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and no longer suffering here. He will be dearly missed. I enjoyed golfing with Bob and the good ol boys for a few years when there was a spot available in the tight foursome they had. We shared some good laughs and terrible golf shots. I look forward to the day we meet again. "Absent from the body...present with the LORD" My prayers and with the family at this time of grief. Sharon

I've known Bob since I was about 10 years old. He was always a lot of fun to be around. He and my Father In Law were very close friends at church and on the golf course and the two of them together were amazing with their shared sense of humor. My love goes to Grace and Carol and I'm praying for you both.

Bob or Armstrong as I affectionately call him.I met Bob when I first started my PSW job at Humber Meadows long term care home. And I must admit I felt terrified whenever I have my shift 😅 with him. One because I known him as a man who likes his things in a certain way. Bob was in his 90s but I will say he felt like someone in his 30s because of how he likes his shirt tucked in and his hair hair brushed from right side to make a line across. He thought me how he liked to be groomed by putting your pants on before your socks so it makes it easier. We'll I can go on and on . He appreciated 👏 everything especially when I try to straighten up his shirt corler..He loves ❤️ Carol his daughter and I must say I haven't met anyone like Carol .God bless her heart ❤️. Am glad I got to be there for Bob to take his last breath. And to dress him one last time with his favorite color which is blue shirt. Miss him everyday 😢 at work and I know he is at peace. Rest on my friend 🧡.
