In memory of

Rita Witrylak

September 19, 1950 -  November 28, 2021

After drinking champagne and eating latkes Rita passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love on November 28th. Rita is now reunited with her beloved husband Harry Stickney.

Born and raised in Montreal she moved to Toronto in 1979 to pursue an MBA and worked for many years in the financial industry.

She was a horsewoman, an avid traveller, lover of the arts, bridge player, line dancer, dedicated volunteer and gardener.

She will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.

Donations can be made in her memory to an animal welfare charity of your choice.

Details of a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Brenda Brookes (Cousin)

Entered December 5, 2021 from Renfrew, ON

I have many cherished memories of our decades as cousins, from learning to ride together, sharing family Christmas dinners and games of bridge, well she played I watched, and many long talks discussing a full gamut of topics. Rita always told you what she was thinking and had the kindest heart. While we didn't see each other a lot these last few years it was a comfort knowing she was there, a phone call away. She will be very missed.

Rita is now together in peace with her loved husband Harry. I remember Rita as a lovely, charming and caring person and will miss her dearly.
My sincere condolences to her closest friends who knew her and her distant family members.
Sincerely
Herbert

It was an honour being your in law.

Neale Monkhouse (Friend and relative on the Stickney side)

She handled her heath issues with such strength for so long, it is hard to believe her journey is over. She was always considered family even after Harry's passing, way too long ago. I will forever miss our visits on my trips to Toronto, but consider myself lucky to have been able to know her all these years.
