It is with regret that I will not be attending the cremation of my sister, Reet. She had many successes in her life and I am so very proud of all her accomplishments in her career. But her biggest accomplishment was having four wonderful children and many grandchildren.
Reet’s death is a deep reminder to me to continue to see joy and beauty in the world, and to be grateful for the ability to witness and experience life.
Tiina, Paul, John and Maija,
I’m so sorry to here of your Mom/Grandmother’s passing. She had a contagious smile and was always so pleasant. Keep all the memories close to your heart ♥️. xoxo. Love The Lehman’s.
Reet was a gifted educator and leader. She had an uncanny ability of how to deal with all types of students, while earning their respect and admiration. Her kindness, compassion, and an infectious sense of humour made her a valued colleague. As a Principal she led by example, working tirelessly on behalf of students, teachers and support staff. She was a cherished friend, whom I will miss greatly.
Heartfelt condolences for the loss of Reet, great leader, educator and friend. She will always be remembered for her enthusiasm, strength and passion for all that she did. May your loving memories of Reet be with you during this most difficult time.
What an honour to have known Reet as a colleague and a friend. Like the Raven she introduced to Sir William Mulock SS, she was both intelligent and adaptable, with the most wonderful laugh. She led by example with fierce determination and integrity, encouraging all of us to embrace the pride, curiosity and purpose necessary to open a new school. The fact that she was also a passionate gardener made for some wonderful conversation. She will be dearly remembered by many. My condolences to her family....speaking of you just made her eyes sparkle.
