In memory of

Raoul Joseph Gaudet

April 25, 1922 -  November 10, 2021

In loving memory ,

Raoul Joseph Gaudet
April 25 1922- November 10 2021

My beloved father passed away peacefully on the evening of November 10th in Scarborough.

Born in Campbelton New Brunswick, son of Alma Landry and Rene Gaudet , he was one of twelve children: Rosina Nolan ( Arthur) Leo (Rita) Alonzo (Yvonne) Dorice (Doris) Boudreau (Maurice) Gerard (Ella) Leonce (Jeannine) Guy (Florence) Paul (Ruby) Francis (Hannah) Annette Melanson (Norman) Rene (Anita) . He was raised in Memramcook, New Brunswick.

Raoul worked as a lumberjack at one time. He was very athletic and played semi professional baseball in Quebec. Seeking more lucrative employment, he moved to Toronto where he worked at Massey Ferguson as a press operator for many years. He met his loving wife Adrienne in Dieppe, New Brunswick but the couple decided to wed in Toronto, where they raised one daughter.

Raoul was a very honest, loving ,generous, quiet, yet fun loving man.Everyone who knew him loved him, and new acquaintances immediately liked him. Even children who were strangers ,were drawn to him , as well as animals. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as spending time with his family, his siblings and their families. Every year he would spend his summers returning to New Brunswick to visit with his and his wife’s family. He had an infectious laugh and enjoyed teasing people. My father was known for his great appetite and love of food . Other pleasures were : going for long walks, and watching sports on television, especially hockey and baseball. He was a big Montreal Canadians fan . Renting a cottage near Algonquin park was also something he liked . Raoul also enjoyed a family trip to Jamaica, and a father and daughter cruise to Alaska.

He is survived by his daughter Anne-Marie Gaudet (Kimball Price)

Raoul will be greatly missed by his family and friends. There is a void that can never be filled.
