Dennis: Ralph "Peter" -After a lengthy illness, passed away peacefully at Casey House, in Toronto, on June 6th, 2017 in his 75th year.
Born on March 29, 1943, Peter was predeceased by his parents Ralph and C. Elizabeth (Noyle) Dennis of Mooretown, Ontario. He is survived by his brother Rick (Linda) Dennis of Markham, niece Kathy (Peter) Moffat of Whitby and nephew Jeff (Samantha) Dennis of Pickering. Great nieces and nephews Jessica and Tyler Moffat and Lillian and Caleb Dennis will miss knowing Peter. Remembered by friends across Canada.
Following attaining his BA at the University of Western Ontario, Peter worked for the Ontario Water Resources Commission, now the Ministry of the Environment. At the time of his retirement he was a Policy Advisor involved in the development of the ministry's water management policy.
In keeping with Peter's wishes, cremation has taken place. A service in celebration of Peter's life will take place on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:30 am at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre , 375 Mt. Pleasant Road, Toronto (east gate entrance). Visitation will occur from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, prior to the service.
Sincere thanks is extended for the care provided by the doctors, social workers and staff at Casey House for their care of Peter during the past few months.
