With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother
in her 91st year. Cherished mother to Carol, Theresa (Ben) and Luigi (Cheridan);
devoted Nanni to Victoria (Sotiri), Brandon, Peter, Kristen (Robbie) and Chantel (Domenic); loving sister to Salvatore (Lidia); caring sister-in-law to Maria (Antonio deceased), Ida (Fiore deceased) and Giuseppina (Eugenio deceased). She will be dearly missed by many extended family, nieces, nephews and friends. We will not be the same without her. Raffaella was born in Pietrafitta, Cosenza (Italy). She immigrated to Canada in 1954 and began an adventurous life filled with many challenging moments! She became a seamstress and worked in Toronto's garment industry for over 35 years. She took great pride in her skills as a seamstress and created beautiful clothing and home items for family and friends. She had many passions - sewing, cooking, dancing, knitting, and entertaining family and friends. Her primary focus was her family. She always said, "Family is the most important thing in your life. Always stay close and love each other with all your heart." The best advice ever !! Thank you, mamma/nanni !!

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June18 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MOUNT PLEASANT CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE (375 Mount Pleasant Road). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m. at ST. BRIGID'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (300 Wolverleigh Blvd.). Entombment to follow at MOUNT PLEASANT CEMETERY (375 Mount Pleasant Road).
