In memory of

吳國輝 Quentin Kwok Fai Ng

April 27, 1940 -  May 27, 2023

Quentin passed away peacefully on May 27, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is survived by his wife Katherine of 55 years. He will be deeply missed by his children David (Vicky) Ng, Caleb Ng and his grandchildren Jonathan, Matthew, and Olivia.

Quentin loved good conversation while eating either Chinese or German foods with his family and friends. Quentin would always have time to talk as long as there was coffee or beer.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, he completed his engineering studies in Germany after which he returned to Hong Kong where he met his wife Katherine.

Shortly after getting married, the young couple relocated to Vancouver. Quentin had to move for his job as a mechanical engineer with a specialty in heating and cooling systems. Work brought him to Seattle, and then to Washington DC, where he designed hermetical storage rooms for the US military.

He later returned to Canada to live in Toronto. Jokingly, Katherine suggested that Quentin take a job teaching his trade. Quentin accepted the challenge and made his career teaching at George Brown College for over 25 years until his retirement.

Quentin has always been strong with his Christian faith and served in various positions in the churches he attended.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, June 17, 2023 starting with visitation at 9:00 am and service at 10 am ending with the Interment at 11:15 am. A lunch reception (starting at 1:45 pm) will be held at Dragon Pearl Restaurant at 865 York Mills Road.

Flowers can be sent to York Cemetery & Funeral Centre on Friday, June 16, 2023 before 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family would be so grateful for gifts to Tyndale University to support international students, one of Quentin's passions:

Warmly remembered for opening his home to the children while the parents were attending church.

I remember the fun we had playing volleyball, soccer or tag with the other
children.

Condolences to the family~
