In Loving Memory of Pushpa Kumar

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable woman. Pushpa Kumar graced this world with her presence on January 1st, 1927, and peacefully departed on August 6th, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will forever remain etched in our hearts.

Pushpa was the beloved wife of Anand S. Kumar, a partnership built on love and unwavering companionship that served as an inspiration to all who knew them. As a devoted mother, she nurtured and guided her five children, Sonny Kumar, Patricia Rigillo, Sam Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, and Sanj Kumar, instilling in them values of compassion, perseverance, and the importance of family.

Her role as a grandmother brought her immeasurable joy. She leaves behind a lineage of love in Nicole Rigillo, Michael Rigillo, Jennifer Kumar, Ryan Kumar Analisa Kumar, Alexander Kumar, James Kumar, Victoria Kumar, Andrew Kumar, Crystal Kumar, and Jacqueline Kumar as well as her great-grandchildren Benjamin Belletti, Beckett Kumar, Miles Kumar and Ishani Rigillo. Pushpa’s love will continue to resonate through generations.

Pushpa’s caring spirits extended her immediate family, embracing her daughter-in-laws Judith Kumar, Bozena Polrolnik-Kumar, Katharine Kumar, Sonia Krawic, Linda Kumar, and son-in-law Vito Rigillo. Her grace and kindness knew no bounds, touching the lives of all who knew her.

As we come together to celebrate Pushpa’s life, let us remember her for the light she brought into our lives, the laughter we shared, and the countless moments of joy she gifted us. Though she has left this physical world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

A memorial service will be held to honor Pushpa’s life on Monday, August 21st, 2023 at the Meadowvale Funeral Home. This Visitation Service will be held from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Chaptel Service from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM followed by the burial at 1 PM. Following the burial, there will be refreshments at Sonny and Bozena Kumar’s house at 1:30 PM at the following address 536 Amarone Court, Mississauga Ontario L5W0A7.

“Life is not measured by the years we live, but by the love we leave behind.” Pushpa Kumar’s love will forever be a guiding light for us all. May her soul find eternal peace.
