Dear family and friends.

With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved mother, Polixeni Gazeas on February 13, 2022, peacefully in her sleep at the Oshawa General Hospital at the age of 85.

A life well lived, dedicated to her family, friends and church deserves to be beautifully remembered.

Polixeni is fondly remembered by family and friends in Canada, Greece and Australia.
Polixeni leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Triainos Gazeas and her dear two sons, Dimitri (Fanni), Stavros (Filomena). Polixeni was a proud and loving Yaya to Melanie (Ian), Jonathan (Jill), Thomas (Chontalle), Lisa, Christopher (Marianne), Peter (Olivia). A great grandmother to Lilly, Indianna, Logan, Ellie, Maison, Connor and Kai. She will be held dear in the hearts of her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Polixeni was born in Papagianni, Greece. She immigrated to Canada in 1967 to start her new life with her loving husband and two sons. She will be forever remembered for her caring, serving spirit along with her warm and generous nature. Our hearts are heavy but filled with loving memories.
