Polinario, Rafael (Director, Variety Village Fitness Centre)- Peacefully Friday March 10th, 2017 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in his 57th year. Partner of Darrel Sparkes, loving father of Anne Polinario. Sadly missed by brother Manuel and his wife Barbara, brother Kiki (Jesus) and his wife Ivett, sister Maria and her partner Jean-Marc, brother Carlos and his wife Lena and sister in law Roxana. Greatly loved by nieces and nephews, Laura, Lizandra, Loretta, Lisbet, Leandro, Ricardo, Leonardo, and Sasha. Predeceased by father Rafael (senior), mother Josefa (Nee Pereira), and brother Pedro. Friends will be received on Tuesday March 14th at 5:00 at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre at 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto (east gate entrance), service at 6:00 followed by a reception from 7:00-9:00. Memorial donations to Variety Village Fitness Centre would be appreciated by the family.

Raf was a good friend and an amazing life partner to my best friend Darrel. He will be missed by many of those who had the pleasure of meeting him and being touched so deeply by his spirit of caring and giving.
