It is with great sadness that the family of Po Sim (Rebecca) Lee announces her passing on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the age of 81 years. She was born on April 7, 1938 in Hong Kong.Po Sim lived a full life as a wonderful mother, teacher, and homemaker. She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, and was active in her life at the Toronto Chinese Community Church serving the church as well as those who crossed her path. Most of all, she was a dedicated mother and grandmother who instilled strong values in her sons and grandchildren. She loved her family and treasured every moment with them. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Hon-Ming Lee; two sons, Francis Lee and Ronald Lee; and two grandchildren, Gillian Lee and Nathan Lee. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at the Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre with burial to follow. Visitation will be held on the same day from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Toronto Chinese Community Church.
