Peacefully, on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, Ontario, in her 78th year, she passed away. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Sui Soon, after 45 years together. She will be lovingly remembered ‎by her four sons Glen (Toronto), Michael and wife Sharon (Winnipeg), Henry and wife Fiona (Toronto) and William and wife Emma (Toronto). She was the most proud of her six loving grandchildren, Clare, Mackenzie, Laura, Cameron, Morgan and Jamie. She also leaves a brother, King Tak Wan, sister-in-law, Soi Fong Leong and a nephew, Sai Yuen and niece, Suet Wai, all in Kowloon. Po Kau was enjoying her retirement with her family and grandchildren close by. She is now joining her husband who has been patiently watching over her. She will be remembered by many for her infectious smile and her constant desire to help others. She was loved by the kitchen staff for assisting at meal times at Willows Estate, her home for the last number of years. Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North York, ON (416-221-3404) on Saturday October 22 at 10:30am. Visitation to start at 9:00am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Po Kau's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
