Mrs. Ping Lan Liu Lee was surrounded by family as she passed away on June 13, 2016 with the comfort and support of Providence Healthcare staff. She was born on November 20, 1927 in Canton, China. She had one older brother and married Mr. Lee Siu Ming in 1945. Together, they bore 4 children: Josephine, Ernest, Tony, and Amy. They migrated to Hong Kong in 1950 and came to live in Canada in 1979. She had minimal English but always tried her best to communicate with those around her. While being a housewife and supporting her family wasn't always easy, she always had a smile throughout her life. Mrs. Ping Lan Liu Lee leaves behind her four children and her grandsons Kevin, Eric, Alex, Felix, and her granddaughter Karen. She can be remembered as a happy, positive, and smiling mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. The funeral for Mrs. Ping Lan Liu Lee will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at York Cemetery Visitation Chapel 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, ON, M2N 5Z5. The Visitation will be from 12:30pm-1:30pm and Memorial Service starting at 1:30pm. A reception will be followed after the burial ceremony at Fortune Seafood Restaurant 3833 Midland Ave, Unit 10, Scarborough, ON.
