It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pik Yiu Wong (née Chow), beloved mother of Ann, Paul, Sandie and Colin, who passed away peacefully on her 98th birthday, Thursday, September 18, 2025 in Markham, Ontario.

Pik Yiu was born on September 18, 1927, in Hoi Ping, Guangdong Province, China to King Chow and Sue Wun Chow. She lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, resilience, and devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the many lives she touched with kindness.

She was predeceased by her husband, Yim Keung Wong. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Ann (David), Paul (Wei), Sandie (Wah) and Colin (Frances), her seven grandchildren - Suky, Ed, Derek, Tim, Calvin, Justin and Melanie, eight great-grandchildren - Kimberly, Ryan, Erika, Jordan, Gloria, Warren, Kevin, Amelia and extended family and friends who were blessed to know her.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, a private funeral service will be held.
