It was a pleasure and a privilege to get to know Queenie. Five years seems such a short time.. I will hold closely the fond memories I have of our visits, holiday and birthday celebrations, travelling, shopping, and backyard barbecues. She was always open to sharing the wisdom she had gained throughout life; whether it be a through a compelling story, a brief anecdote, or even a simple comment, she could open eyes and ears to her unique view on life. Queenie will be greatly missed.
