In memory of

Philip King Wan Ko

November 11, 1950 -  November 3, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Philip King-Wan Ko, who left us peacefully on November 3, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born in Hong Kong, Philip was admired for his hardworking nature, cheerful spirit, and the warmth he brought into every room. He lived a life guided by integrity and principle, refusing to compromise his values and earning respect through his sincerity, fairness, and generosity. While he preferred meaningful connections over large social circles, the friendships he formed were deep, loyal, and lasting.

Philip’s life was defined by dedication, kindness, and authenticity. He delighted in sharing good food, fine wine, and travel experiences with family and friends, cherishing every moment spent creating memories together. His love of exploration and discovery reflected his zest for life and his appreciation for both the grand adventures and the simple pleasures.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Philip achieved 3rd Dan (Sandan) in judo and carried the discipline and respect of martial arts into all aspects of his life. He also enjoyed basketball and swimming, embracing activity, camaraderie, and the joy of physical challenge with the same passion he brought to everything else.

Philip shared a devoted and loving marriage with his wife, Sophia. Their partnership was a true example of loyalty, respect, and enduring love, admired by all who knew them.

He will be deeply missed by Sophia, his family, his friends, and all whose lives were touched by his generosity, warmth, and positivity. Philip’s legacy of integrity, friendship, and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

"A life lived with honour, love, and generosity leaves a legacy that time cannot fade."
