Peter Bryce Saunders
Surrounded by the love of his family, Peter died peacefully on August 28, 2018 at Sunnybrook Hospital at the age of 70 after a battle with IPF in the lungs. He will be remembered for embracing life to the fullest by his wife of 50 years, Mary Ann and their children Ryan (Carolyn) and Bryce (Snezana). He was an adoring Grandpa to Jackson, Easton, Quinn and his furry friend Stella. Peter will also be missed by his extended family including his sister Elaine and her family. After a successful career at Eaton’s and The Body Shop he went on to enjoy board positions all over the world and he cherished the relationships he built. Friends may visit at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre 375 Mount Pleasant Road (east gate entrance) on Friday, August 31 from 10-11 am, followed by a Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made on behalf of Peter to Sunnybrook Hospital’s Trauma, Emergency and Critical Care unit or the Cancer Centre.
