Peter Michael Kusakovski
July 27, 1963 - June 1, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter (Péce) Kusakovski. Peter passed peacefully on June 1, 2025 at the age of 61.
Peter was born in Tetovo, Yugoslavia on July 27, 1963 to Mite Kusakovski and Marija Kusakovski née Mazar. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pauline Kusakovski and their children Ryan and Jacquelyn. He will be dearly missed by his sisters, Slavica Siskov (Dime Siskov) and Angellina Finelli (Frank Finelli). And his nephews, Alexander Siskov, George Siskov and Jack Duggan. As well as his mother-in law Cheryle Smith, sister-in-law, Michelle Smith (David Duggan) and his brother-in-law, Jeffrey Smith (Michael Campbell). Predeceased by his father-in-law, Michael Smith.
Most of Peter’s cherished memories were made at his family home, where he would later raise his own family, and during his fishing trips at the cottage. This quality time gave him the opportunity to bond with his family and friends, discussing life, having many laughs and making wonderful memories. He was at times called "Re-Pete" because of the stories that he retold, time and time again. His stories always got bigger and better, just like the fish that he caught.
Peter's number one priority was his family, who will forever miss him. He always strived to be a good person, who was kind, forgiving and loving to all those around him.
At Peter’s request, he’ll be put to rest with his parents Mite and Marija Kusakovski and grandparents Kime and Vesa Kusakovski.
