Peter Matto

March 31, 1960 - June 28, 2021

Peter passed away peacefully on June 28th, 2021, surrounded by the love of his family. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Brenda and their children Christopher (Melissa) and Ashley.

Peter was a man with a great sense of humour and had a passion for sports. Peter always was one to tell stories at family and friends' gatherings and bring laughter to all those around him. He always was welcoming and easygoing.

Peter was a loving husband, father, and a good friend to many he touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.

Peter and I have known each other since I was in my late teens thru bowling,baseball and mutual friends. When I met my wife Carol both Peter and Brenda helped us out greatly. Camping and hanging out together solidified our friendship. We worked together at a trucking company and became co shop stewards when we helped to form a union. We later got sick of working on the shipping dock and started looking for something better. Hello TTC. After a while by moving away and having different shifts we didn't stay in contact as much but when we did it was as if we seen each other everyday. He is one of my best friends and will be greatly missed.
