Peter Fu

January 3, 1964 - August 27, 2017

Peter passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 following a brief battle with cancer. Peter was the beloved husband of the late Jean Ing; devoted father of Emily and Annika; dear brother of Paul Fu (Vancouver) and uncle to Amanda, Christina and Derrick (Vancouver). Peter will also be missed by many friends and colleagues in Toronto. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road (in York Cemetery) 416-221-3404, on Thursday, August 31 from 5-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Blessed Trinity Church, 3220 Bayview Avenue (north of Finch Ave.), on Friday, September 1 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at York Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Peter requested that donations be made to a trust fund for Emily and Annika. The account set up for donations is a TD savings account 1976-6772964. You may deposit directly into the account or make cheques payable to Ms Kimberley Lunzmann in Trust for Emily and Annika Fu.

There are no words in any language to describe my friend and colleague " Peter Fu"
Competent, Knowledgeable, hard working, team player, generous, good listener, Good humor, never gives up, caring, good presence, always there when he is called to help solve a problem, Family man, apolitical.
Peter is all of this and more.
May God rest his soul and bless him with His Grace.
May God gives us all the strength at this particularly difficult time.

Peter was not only my manager, but a great mentor in my carreer. I will never forget the small lessons he taught in his own special way. He will be sorely missed.

I never got to meet Peter and I regret that. I have always heard great things of Peter from everyone who came in contact with Peter over the years at Woodbridge, and he sure impacted a lot of them. He will be missed and my prayers and thoughts for his beloved girls. May God give them all the happiness and joy that he has and can for them.
