Peter David Sandilands journeyed from this life 10 days after his 55th birthday surrounded by the love of family and friends and the caring staff at Kensington Hospice on March 26th, 2017. Dear son of Barbara Sandilands of Bluewater Resthome in Zurich, brother/brother-in-law to Missy and Glenn Pfaff, uncle to Jessica, Kelly and Rebekah Pfaff of Dashwood. Predeceased by his father Peter Sandilands in 2015. Cousins from across the country give pause at his passing. David is lovingly missed by many friends who represent his lifetime of adventures in Grand Bend, Exeter, at Sheraton, in Calgary, Banff, Huntsville and Toronto. We recognize family and friends are a distance away and we understand. Very sorry to hear about David. I know how hard it is to lose your brother. I went to school with David all through high school. He was a gentle soul.

My condolences to Barb, Missy, Glen and girls. David and I went to Grand Bend Public School and South Huron District High School together. I have fond memories and enjoyed many visits to the Havasu Trading Post and spending time with both Missy and David growing up in Grand Bend.

David was a classmate of mine at SHDHS. Our lockers were close together and we had good chats in passing. I admired his passion for theatre class and enjoyed time spent with him there. More recently, just a few years back, I stopped to say hello to him while he was on the front porch of his mothers home in Exeter. I will remember him as a kind soul. My condolences to Davids family.
