In memory of

Peter Connolly

September 13, 1958 -  October 21, 2022

Peter Joseph Connolly, 64, passed away on October 21, 2022.

He was born to parents Joseph and Kathleen Connolly, on September 13, 1958, in Toronto, ON. Peter was one of ten siblings and was known for his unique sense of humor. He married Sharon, the love of his life, in 1991, who survives him. Peter is also survived by his sons Jeff and Jay as well as his grandchildren; Julia, Jennifer, Nolan and Isla.

Peter took pride in where he worked and those whom he worked with. He had a big heart and cared about helping others, whether it was with his family, friends or the community. He always enjoyed laughing and sharing stories by the fire at the cottage or while watching his favorite NY Giants and Toronto Maple Leafs. It is clear in the days since his passing that he left a mark and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 28 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and the memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Simple Alternative Funeral Home.

Pete you were such a sweet guy to grow up with. Bike riding, road hockey, baseball. Had lots of fun. A great family to grow up with as a neighbours. Every time I buy Italian plums I think of you .l

“May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face…” “May joy and peace surround you, contentment latch your door. And happiness be with you now and bless you evermore.” “As you slide down the banisters of life, may the splinters never point the wrong way.”

Cheers to you Pete! Thank you for the laughs, memories and for being my friend! I will cherish these memories until we meet again! Love you uncle Pete! Xo
